1Who we are

Kindred Family Pass ("Kindred", "we", "us") is operated by Interactive Ecommerce LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801. These terms are an agreement between us and the person who creates the family account (the "account owner") and each person who joins it. By creating or joining an account, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you subscribe to Plus, our refund and cancellation policy also applies.

2Your free account and your family

A family account is free. You can create one with your email, Google or Apple, with no card and no charge. It lets up to 5 people in your household, including you, earn cash back into one shared family balance and one family goal when they shop at participating stores through our app or links.

• The account owner is responsible for the account and for the people they invite.
• The owner and any member with the parent role can invite and remove members, change the family goal and request payouts. Other members can earn but cannot request payouts.
• Members must be at least 13 years old. Members aged 13 to 17 may join only when invited by a parent or legal guardian who manages the account. Children under 13 may not have an account.
• An invited person joins only after they accept the email invite.
• A person can belong to only one family at a time.

3The member share: what you get, what we keep

Stores pay us a referral commission when a member buys online through our app or links. That commission is how we earn money from the free account. We split it with your family:

• Default split. Your family gets 70% of the commission we receive for the purchase (the "member share"). We keep 30% to run Kindred.
• It can vary per store or offer. Some stores or offers pay a different member share, higher or lower. The cash back shown on a store or offer before you shop is your family's number, already after our share. We never show the store's gross commission as your cash back.
• Changes. Store rates and the member share can change. The rate that applies is the one shown when you open the store through our link. If we lower the default member share, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to new purchases.

4How cash back works

Rates shown in the app are set by stores and may change at any time. A store that has not approved us yet shows no rate.

• Pending. Cash back is pending from the time the store reports the purchase until the store confirms it, usually after its return window. This usually takes 30 to 45 days, and longer for some stores, such as travel, which confirms after the trip.
• Available. Once confirmed, cash back becomes available to withdraw.
• Online orders only. Only orders placed on the store's website after opening it through our link earn; in-store, phone and store-app orders don't.
• Offers. Offers on our offers page, in the app and in our emails, such as extra cash back or a discount code, are set by the store and follow its terms, shown with each offer. A store can change or end an offer early. Cash back from an offer is paid like other cash back: on qualifying online orders, after the store confirms them.
• Members-only offers. Some offers are marked members-only. Anyone can see what they are and their reward, but the link and any code open only with an active Plus subscription. They pay the member share shown on that offer, which can be up to 100%.
• Not guaranteed. A purchase may not be tracked if, for example, cookies are blocked, another coupon or cash back service is used, or the store does not report it. We will look into missing cash back if you contact us within 60 days of the purchase, but the store decides whether to pay.
• Reversals. If a store reverses or reduces a commission, for example after a return, cancellation or chargeback, we deduct the matching cash back from your balance, even if it was already available or paid out. This can make your available balance negative. A negative balance is offset by future cash back, and payouts are paused while the balance is below zero.

5Payouts

• The minimum payout is $10 of available cash back.
• You can choose PayPal, paid at face value, or a gift card for Amazon, Target, Walmart, DoorDash, Starbucks or The Home Depot, which we issue at 5% more than the amount you withdraw.
• Confirmed cash back is your family's to withdraw on the free account. You never need Plus to cash out, and canceling Plus never removes cash back you earned.
• We process payout requests within 5 business days. We may hold a payout to verify it if we see signs of error or abuse.
• Cash back has no cash value until it is paid out, and it cannot be transferred to another family.

6Kindred Plus: price and automatic renewal

What it is. Plus is an optional paid subscription for the account owner's family. It unlocks members-only offers. It does not change the member share on public offers and includes no other benefits.

Price. $4.99 a month, or $29 a year, charged to your card when you subscribe. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any taxes that may apply. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Automatic renewal. Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the same price, and we charge the card on file on each renewal date until you cancel. Before you subscribe we show the price, the billing period and these renewal terms next to the button, and we ask you to agree to them separately with a checkbox. We keep a record of that agreement.

Reminders. For yearly plans, we email you 15 to 45 days before each renewal, with the amount, the date of the charge and a link to cancel.

Price changes. If the Plus price changes, we will email you at least 30 days before the renewal it applies to. You can cancel before that renewal if you do not agree.

Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, we may retry it. Members-only offers stay locked until the payment succeeds. Your free account, your balance and payouts are not affected.

7How to cancel Plus

You can cancel online at any time, without calling or chatting with anyone:

1. Sign in and open Settings.
2. Choose Cancel Plus and confirm.

You will see a confirmation on screen and by email. Canceling stops future renewals. Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for and then ends; you will not be charged again. Your free account, your family balance and your cash back stay as they are. You can also cancel by emailing support@example.com from the email on your account. Refunds are covered in our refund and cancellation policy.

8Store rules, fraud and abuse

• Some stores do not allow cash back or other incentives on certain purchases or traffic sources. You may not earn or use cash back on purchases where the store forbids incentivized traffic, and any such cash back will be removed.
• Do not create multiple accounts, use fake accounts, buy items to return them, resell, share members-only codes or links, use automated tools, or otherwise abuse the program.
• If we reasonably believe an account is involved in fraud or abuse, or breaks these terms, we may withhold or remove the cash back involved, refuse payouts, and suspend or end the account and any Plus subscription.

9Closing your account

You can close your account at any time from Settings. Closing it cancels any Plus subscription. Before you close it, request a payout of any available balance of $10 or more; we also email you before we delete anything. If you close an account with available cash back, we keep paying it out on request for 90 days after closing.

10Other terms

Stores. Stores are independent businesses. Their names are trademarks of their owners and do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for products you buy, store prices, delivery or returns.

Changes to the service. We may add or remove stores, offers and features. If we make a material change to these terms, we will email you before it takes effect; continuing to use your account after that means you accept it.

Disclaimers and liability. The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 and the Plus fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where the consumer protection laws of your state of residence apply.
